Uncomfortable Journal Prompts — Season 1
Eight weeks of questions designed to invite honesty, clarity, and deeper self-trust — with recommended reading.
Uncomfortable Journal Prompts is for people who are willing to look beneath habit, role, and expectation — and tell themselves the truth.
These prompts aren’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone new.
They’re about remembering what’s already true and noticing where you’ve adapted in ways that no longer serve you.
Each week, you’ll receive a thoughtfully crafted question designed to interrupt familiar thinking patterns and open space for reflection. Some prompts may challenge you. Some may surprise you. All are intended to help you reconnect with your own authenticity and inner authority.
This is not about pushing yourself beyond your capacity.
It’s about getting honest — gently and clearly — about what’s shaping your life.
What to Expect
Each prompt is inspired by a book or author that has influenced my own journey of self-discovery. The reading list is optional but enriching, and many participants enjoy exploring it with friends or book clubs.
These questions invite you to notice:
what you’ve normalized
where you’ve grown comfortable — even when something feels off
what you’ve been carrying simply because it’s familiar
Comfort can feel safe, even when it keeps us small.
The unknown, approached with curiosity, is often where freedom begins.
This Work Is an Invitation
Uncomfortable Journal Prompts is not a performance.
There’s no right way to do it.
There’s no pace to keep up with.
It’s an invitation to sit with yourself honestly and see what emerges.
I’m not asking you to do this perfectly.
I’m inviting you to do it truthfully.
I’m right here with you.
If you’re willing to get curious and meet yourself where you are, you’re welcome to join.
