ABOUT DEBRA ANN MUMM

I’m Debra Ann Mumm — author, speaker, artist, and creator of Authentic RESET, a body of work exploring what happens when we stop performing and start living from truth.

For decades, my work lived in creative and communal spaces — places where people explored expression, possibility, and meaning. Over time, I began to notice something quietly pervasive: many people were functioning, achieving, and even succeeding while feeling disconnected from themselves, each other, and what mattered most.

That disconnection is not a personal failure. It’s cultural.

Somewhere along the way, many of us learned to adapt, perform, seek approval, and build lives around inherited expectations instead of inner truth. We become successful at functioning while quietly losing touch with ourselves.

Authentic RESET emerged from my own questioning — not as a method for self-improvement, but as an exploration of what becomes possible when we stop outsourcing authority and begin listening more honestly.

Built around five movements — Remember, Envision, Seek, Express, and Trust — RESET is both practical and contemplative. It invites people to examine conditioning, reconnect with what feels true, and begin living with greater coherence, courage, and self-trust.

Today, I share this work through writing, speaking, podcast conversations, and shared inquiry. My talks create spaces where people can get honest without shame, question inherited narratives, and reconnect with what actually matters.

At the heart of this work is a simple belief:

We do not become ourselves.

We remember.

IN A FEW WORDS

I believe truth is stabilizing.
Love is an orientation.
And when we stop abandoning ourselves, life reorganizes naturally.

When I’m not writing or speaking, you’ll usually find me on a desert trail, in a meaningful conversation, or following curiosity toward whatever truth is asking to be noticed next.
