ABOUT DEBRA ANN MUMM

I’m Debra Ann Mumm — author, speaker, and creator of Authentic RESET, a body of work devoted to helping people come back into right relationship with themselves, each other, and life.

For decades, my work lived in creative and communal spaces — places where people explored expression, possibility, and meaning. Over time, I began to notice something quietly pervasive: many people were functioning, achieving, and even succeeding — while feeling disconnected from themselves and from one another.

That disconnection is not a personal failure. It’s cultural.

Authentic RESET emerged as a response — not a method for self-improvement, but a way of remembering what gets lost when we adapt too well. It is built around five movements — Remember, Envision, Seek, Express, and Trust — and invites people to live from truth rather than performance, fear, or inherited expectations.

At its core, this work is about restoring love — not as an idea, but as a lived orientation:
love for what is true,
love for what is human,
and love for the parts of ourselves we learned to abandon in order to belong.

Today, I share this work through writing, speaking, and shared inquiry. My talks create spaces where people can soften without collapsing, tell the truth without burning bridges, and reconnect with what actually matters.

My work has appeared on a Times Square billboard and on live stages and podcasts, including my own Bee Reel Podcast, where I interview people living honest, unscripted lives.

Everything I offer is guided by a simple commitment:
to stay human, to speak truth with care, and to choose love over fear — even when it’s inconvenient.

IN A FEW WORDS

I believe love is not passive.
Truth is stabilizing.
And when people stop abandoning themselves, life reorganizes naturally.

When I’m not writing or speaking, you’ll usually find me on a desert trail, in a real conversation, or behind a microphone helping someone tell the truth they’ve been carrying quietly.
